Island's schools reopen following summer holidays
Thousands of schoolchildren are heading back to the classroom today (Wednesday) as the new academic year begins on the Isle of Man.
The education department says attendance is compulsory unless pupils are showing signs of coronavirus.
Distinguishing between the symptoms of Covid-19 and common colds is one of the challenges facing schools this autumn.
