Nationalists reject local governor idea
The search has begun for a new Lieutenant Governor for the Isle of Man, with Adam Wood due to retire next year.
A selection process sees the Chief Minister, President of Tynwald and First Deemster make recommendations before the Queen or her representative makes a final choice.
But does that mean the Island should aspire to having the first ever Manx governor in the post?
