Top Gear presenter James May has completed his epic lap of the TT course on a sidecar made from Meccano.
He and fellow TV presenter Oz Clark set out from the TT Grandstand the day before yesterday to film a special programme that’ll be shown on BBC2 at Christmas.
The bike was beset with problems but managed to make it over the line this morning in front of a packed crowd on the Glencrutchery Road finish line.
Afterwards, James told Chris Kinley the bike had reached a respectable speed:
