Kenneth Hughes was born in Ramsey
The medals of a Squadron Leader, who flew over 500 hours delivering aid at the end of World War II, have come to the Isle of Man.
Born in Ramsey in 1923, Kenneth Hughes AFC went to King William's College.
Later, he lived in Canada with his wife, where he died at the age of 96.
His medals were presented to KWC's Major Bruce Kirkham, Chief Minister Alfred Cannan and Tynwald President Laurence Skelly by a Canadian delegation on Thursday afternoon.
