The founder of a company preparing to cultivate medicinal cannabis on the Isle of Man says it's important the product is affordable.

GrowLab Organics is working on a planning application for a purpose built facility, after being granted a licence in principal.

Speaking on the Mannin Line, Chief Executive Alex Frey said cost is one of a number of important considerations:

The company is preparing a planning application which will be submitted in the next few months, and it hopes the facility will be up within a year.
