Those experiencing the medicinal benefits of cannabis are being forced to use the drug illegally when they can’t have it prescribed.
That’s the view of a psychiatrist at the Island’s Drugs and Alcohol Team.
Growing research shows medicinal cannabis use can benefit those in pain, suffering from nausea and to counter the side-effects of chemotherapy.
