Some patients exploiting emergency GP service
Waiting times to see a GP in the Isle of Man are leading to some people bending the rules when it comes to using the out-of-hours service.
That's according to Dr John Snelling, who is a GP in Peel.
He appears on Manx Radio's Women Today programme regularly, to speak about and answer the public's questions on medical matters.
He says the Island is still short of GPs, and while waiting times vary from practice to practice, some patients are trying to circumvent them by using the Manx Emergency Doctor Service (MEDS) instead:
