Fundraising plea in Martin Rankin's second video
An Island GP wants to raise a million pounds, to help the families of front-line healthcare workers who have lost their lives during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Martin Rankin, who works nights at the Manx Emergency Doctors' Service, previously issued an emotional plea to the Manx public through a video, urging people to keep following lockdown measures.
Yesterday in the UK, it was announced that families of healthcare workers who pass away after testing positive for coronavirus in England and Wales will receive £60,000.
