Brian Diehl's three-wheeled replica taking shape
For what's thought to be the first time since 1964 an iconic Peel P50 car is being built on the Isle of Man.
The man behind the project, Brian Diehl, looks after the original microcar on display at the Manx Transport Heritage Museum in Peel - just a stone's throw from the original Peel Engineering Company building.
Original P50s can sell at auction for more than £100,000 - Brian is hoping to keep his project under £2000.
Having found a mould for sale in Scotland two years ago, Brian's replica three-wheeler is now taking shape:
Brian told Manx Radio he hopes to have the car on the roads within the next six months.
