Drop-in session today (11)
Laxey residents will be given the chance to relay their experiences of the major flooding, which hit the village at the start of October.
A drop-in session with the government appointed consultant, tasked with leading an independent review into the extreme weather event, is being held at the Laxey Working Men's Institute today (11 Dec).
All those who experienced the effects of the floods are asked to attend any time between 4pm and 8pm.
The review is being undertaken by Arup, a multinational company which provides 'consulting services for all aspects of the built environment'.
It's understood that several Garff commissioners will be attending the event as individual members.
