Julie Edge previously said she wouldn't sit down with unions
The education minister insists a meeting she held with unions on the Island did not amount to a negotiation.
Julie Edge and the chief minister sat face to face with the education unions in February.
She'd previously said her place was not in negotiations.
However she says her presence at the meeting was not a change of policy:
