Manx Cancer Help receives 140 referrals per annum
It's important to ensure cancer sufferers are encouraged to receive mental health care - that's according to the CEO of Manx Cancer Help, Andrea Chambers.
The charity, which receives 140 referrals a year, is encouraging people to 'self-refer' and seek help if they're struggling to cope with their situation.
Manx Cancer Help offers sessions with a therapist to support sufferers in dealing with the difficulties they face.
Ms Chambers says more and more referrals related to mental health are being received by the charity - she says it can often be difficult for patients to look for support:
