Outreach organiser pleasantly surprised
The organiser of an 'outreach stall', looking to promote discussion with the public about mental health and wellbeing, says she's been pleasantly surprised by people's reactions.
Alyssa Isaac, who's normally based at the Manannan Court acute inpatient facility, manned the stall opposite Marks and Spencer on Strand Street in Douglas this afternoon (16 May).
The idea was to offer advice on stress management, mindfulness and wellbeing - as part of Mental Health Awareness week.
Alyssa says it's met a positive response:
Fuel costs 'likely to rise' amid Middle East conflict
Ramsey Commissioners redacted information 'without justification' in FoI response
Death of MGP competitor deemed accidental by inquest
Flooding caused by 'sealed off' gulley, says Douglas Council
