Conference outlines 'holistic' health approach
A public health student at University College Isle of Man says there's still a big difference between attitudes to mental and physical ill health.
Sophie Dawson is one of the second years who helped organise the 'Peace of Mind' conference yesterday (Tue 6).
The gathering was designed to open up discussion about attitudes towards mental ill health on the Isle of Man - a range of professionals working in the field were invited to give speeches about their own experiences.
Miss Dawson says an 'holistic' approach to health is needed.
