Services were due to stop this weekend
The Isle of Man's summer season officially finishes this weekend, but the Isle of Man Steam Railway and Manx Electric Railway aren't done just yet.
The Department of Infrastructure has opted to extend the services for a while, whilst the air bridge with Guernsey remains open and local demand is high.
Its minister, Tim Baker, explained the decision to Manx Radio's Dollin Mercer:
