Lucky escape for Kent rider
Tribute has been paid to the work of the 'unsung heroes' of TT - by a rider with more than enough experience.
Steve Mercer crashed his Dafabet Devitt Kawasaki at the 11th milestone during practice on Friday night.
While the 140mph smash looked frightening, it left the Kent man only 'a bit sore and grazed'.
Even more amazingly, he was back in the paddock on Saturday - and has since gotten back in the saddle for this week's racing.
