Operation Needle ongoing
Police in Merseyside say they’re continuing to work hard to prevent the theft of motorcycles.
Officers say they want to reassure motorcyclists and visitors – many of whom are travelling to the Island from Liverpool – that they are safe.
Earlier this week two German visitors – who were en route to the TT – had their bikes stolen in Walton; they have since been reunited with them.
Operation Needle works to disrupt and identify those involved in the theft of and from motorcycles.
