A yellow alert is in place from 11.30am
A yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping comes into effect from 11.30am today (1 February) until 3am tomorrow.
Forecasters at the Met Office say the most affected areas will be Shore Road, Castletown Promenade and Douglas Promenade.
Strong southerly winds, accompanied by large spring tides are expected to cause waves and debris to wash onto to roads.
A yellow warning for frost and ice ended at 3am this morning.
