Vote to take place in February
The Manx Grand Prix Supporters Club has said it will vote on whether to dissolve the charity next month.
The organisation, which helps injured riders and their families, made the decision at a committee meeting last Thursday (8 January).
Last year the club celebrated the club's 50th anniversary.
The vote is set to take place on 26 February with more details and venue information to be announced in due course.
In November 2025, the charity considered the possibility of winding down, with reasons including changing objectives of the club over time, a lack of younger people getting involved in the setup and increasing regulations around volunteering.
Speaking last month, Club Chairman Alan Brew explained what would need to change for the club to stay active:

£41K spent on encouraging people to shop local
Baton of Hope to come back to Isle of Man
CoC 'keen' for continuity of sidecar racing at TT
2026 Manx Grand Prix to begin today
