A Ramsey MHK has criticised government for unveiling major announcements at its annual conference before presenting them to Tynwald.
Among the reveals were plans for a National Office for Artificial Intelligence Development and Regulation, and the return of the Food and Drink Festival.
But Lawrie Hooper says key policy decisions should come before Tynwald first.
He believes it's a deliberate strategic choice:
