Claire Christian welcomes the 'challenge'
An MHK and MLC have been handed political roles within the Department of Education, Sport and Culture.
Douglas South MHK Claire Christian takes the reigns for Arts and Culture and becomes the new Chair of the Isle of Man Arts Council.
Meanwhile, Legislative Council member Paul Craine's duties will include overseeing data and legislation on a number of departmental projects.
Ms Christian spent 20-years working in the fashion industry before her election.
Mr Craine is a former assistant headteacher and education adviser.
Both will commence their roles with immediate effect.
