Tim Glover tells followers 'I am better than that'
An Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK has apologised to his constituency colleague following a social media spat.
It's after Tim Glover accused Jason Moorhouse of taking part in 'parasite politics'.
Mr Glover initially criticised Mr Moorhouse on Facebook for asking a question in the House of Keys about why nicotine pouches are still available to under 18s, claiming he knew about plans to progress a bill addressing it through all branches in one day.
Now though, Mr Glover has apologised for the 'terse nature' of his original post, saying 'I am better than that'.
He did add though that he hopes Mr Moorhouse now has the 'good grace' to withdraw his question, knowing the answer.

In a statement to Manx Radio, Mr Moorhouse says his focus is on 'getting work done and improving the lives of people in Arbory, Castletown and Malew in the limited time which remains'.
He also claims the original post was factually incorrect and an unnecessary distraction.
Mr Moorhouse argues Tynwald Members have not received an update on whether the issues associated with young people being able to access nicotine pouches with their pocket money will be resolved by this administration.
The House of Keys met for the final time during this administration today (30 June) where Mr Moorhouse still put his question to Cabinet Office Minister, David Ashford:
Since then, Mr Moorhouse has taken to Facebook to share his own thoughts about Mr Glover's post.
"We have all hear a sharp or cruel remark being muttered by a friend or someone we trust, but when you see such a comment on the internet the impact can be far greater!
"In my case, the core concern was, how somebody I have worked with so closely for five years could write such an item based on fundamental inaccuracy." - Jason Moorhouse
He insists he had no information about what was happening with the legislation until 4.13pm on Monday 29 June.
He added: "A couple of colleagues said - 'without the question they would not have progressed the legislation!"
He also said Mr Glover had told him about the apology post, but that his only response was "I don't follow you!"
Mr Moorhouse has described it as a 'frustrating situation', but stresses 'we must move on'.
