Ashford's call for politicians not be to 'distracted' from social agenda
Affordable housing is needed on the Isle of Man to 'attract in' the people needed to make a 'vibrant population'.
That's the view of Douglas North MHK David Ashford who says without it government won't fix any of the Island's other issues.
Speaking on Tynwald Day he said it's important politicians aren't 'distracted' from the social agenda:
Fellow Douglas North MHK John Wannenburgh says he believes the Island has enough money to help the poorest in society:

Three-month wait for state pension forecast statements
OFT to investigate possible regulation of funeral directors
"One of the Island's foremost champions of Manx heritage" to receive Tynwald Honour
No timeline yet for reinstatement of rehab service to north
Venezuela Fury & Noah Price wedding "a true showcase of the breadth and quality of Manx services"
