Ramsey member says travel ban is too strict
An MHK is calling for a rethink on restrictions preventing non-Manx residents coming to the Island for compassionate reasons.
Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper believes exemptions should be made for those who need to visit a sick relative or attend a funeral.
Tynwald has been debating a series of changes and new measures put forward by Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas.
Mr Hooper says the risk posed by such visitors can be managed:
