John Wannenburgh says someone must be held accountable for failed contract with Cube International
A backbench MHK is calling on the Enterprise Minister to resign, after ties were cut with Cube International.
The company had been tasked with the production and supply of TT Races merchandise, but owes government and local businesses more than £220,000.
Douglas North member John Wannenburgh questioned in the House of Keys today whether enough due dilligence had been done before giving Cube the contract, and suggested Tim Johnston should resign.
Mr Johnston didn't respond the comments in the chamber.
Mr Wannenburgh says he wasn't surprised to learn a quick online search had revealed the company's financial issues:
