DoI to be asked about pedestrian safety in House of Keys
Crossings on a busy road on the outskirts of Douglas need to be improved as the current set-up can be 'quite lethal'.
That's according to Douglas North MHK David Ashford, who will ask about pedestrian safety in the area at this week's sitting of the House of Keys.
He's particularly concerned about a section of Johnny Watterson's Lane, and is set to raise the issue with the Department of Infrastructure.
Mr Ashford says it can be particularly challenging for younger road users:
Ramsey and District Cottage Hospital closure 'inconvenient' but 'significant issues' need to be fixed
Four local authorities looking for by-election candidates
Reinstatement of home births 'remains at top of agenda' for Manx Care
Weekend sailings at risk
Plans submitted for 85 new homes on former Buchan School site
