Peters argues that health and education are more important than climate initiatives
A Middle MHK is contemplating new proposals to make the Isle of Man's approach to net-zero targets more 'pragmatic'.
Stu Peters believes that environmental issues should take a lower priority with greater focus placed on the needs of the Island's residents.
It is still unclear what form any potential motion could take as the current interim climate targets are enshrined in law and cannot be postponed.
However Chief Minister Alfred Cannan believes it's becoming 'increasingly difficult' to meet the Island's 2030 interim target.
Mr Peters told Manx Radio achieving these targets may not be possible without 'destroying the economy':
