Avondale Road junction lights not due to be replaced until 2026-27
A set of traffic lights in Onchan needs to be reviewed to prevent queues in the village, according to one of the area's MHK.
Rob Callister recently asked the Department of Infrastructure whether it was considering installing lights which vary their timings depending on the level of traffic at the Avondale Road junction.
The DoI confirmed the current system is due to remain in place until 2026 or 2027, but when they're due to be replaced it will be considered.
