Concerns government may not achieve Island plan if it doesn't intervene
A Douglas South MHK is calling on government to 're-address' help available to Island-based businesses.
It follows the announcement that her own business – Claire Christian Couture – is closing this month due to what she’s described as ‘unimaginable’ increased costs.
Claire Christian has previously been vocal about the amount of support for those who are self-employed.
A local business owner recently told Manx Radio he believed the current economic climate is tougher than it was during the pandemic.
