"Lack of Integrity"about departure
The first casualty of the Howard Quayle administration says she was left with ‘little choice’ but to resign as the Island’s health and social care minister.
Kate Beecroft stood down with immediate effect on Wednesday, after being told she had lost the support of her departmental members.
Two of them – MHKs Rob Callister and Clare Bettison – resigned last year, while there was a public difference of opinion with chief executive Malcolm Couch.
Mrs Beecroft feels there was a ‘lack of integrity’ about the way her departure was handled.
