'Restrictive' system to discussed in House of Keys
A lack of flexibility in new rules for the housing system is cause for concern for Ramsey MHK Lawrie Hooper.
Claiming 'people don't fit neatly into boxes', Mr Hooper will be following up why restrictive measures have been taken in the next sitting of the House of Keys.
On Tuesday (2) he will ask the Minister for Infrastructure when the decision was made to grant additional points for sheltered housing to tenants who give formal notice to quit to their landlords.
He says some of the content of those rules seem unusual:
