Alf Cannan says it's time to act
Michael MHK Alf Cannan is demanding greater protection for the Island's coastlines.
He's invited fellow Tynwald members to Glen Wyllin beach to see the damage done by erosion.
Mr Cannan claims extending roack armour in the area will now cost up to £8million - more than twice as much as when the proposal was first put forward 15 years ago.
And he says discussion is pointless if nothing is done:
