Callister quit DHSC role
The MHK who resigned from the Department of Health and Social Care says he has no idea how the reason behind his departure got into the public domain.
Rob Callister resigned last month citing a difference of opinion with the minister, Kate Beecroft, but didn't specify at the time the exact reasons for his departure.
It's since become known it was due to a disagreement with the minister over confidence in Chief Executive Malcolm Couch.
Mr Callister says a line has now been drawn under the matter, and whilst he stands by his decision, it was his intention to keep the reasons behind closed doors:
