Ramsey member seeks update in the House of Keys
An MHK wants to know what the government is doing to ensure the Island's flood defences aren't "overwhelmed".
Laxey recently suffered flood damage following heavy rain, but 11 areas on the Island have a higher flood-risk rating.
Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper will seek an update on the work carried out on the rivers considered most likely to flood when the House of Keys sits next week.
He's keen to ensure improvements are completed as a priority:
