Douglas East member part of Isle of Pride team
One of the politicians involved in the Isle of Pride event says homophobia is still happening on the Isle of Man.
The festival is due to take place in June next year, and will celebrate all forms of diversity.
Those behind the event hope it has a lasting impact.
