Ports member urges people to protect themselves when booking
An MHK has urged the travelling public to book tickets with credit cards, or via travel agents, where possible in case airlines go bust.
It follows the announcement that Flybe has folded – the company is now in administration and flights across the UK, and to Amsterdam and Geneva, have been grounded.

In October last year Flybe scrapped a new winter schedule – between Ronaldsway and London and Belfast – two days before launch; effectively pulling out of the Island before it had started.
