Plans could be submitted this month
An MHK in the south of the Island has given a cautious welcome to the news plans are being drawn up to create a bypass in Ballasalla.
An estimated £8 million scheme would divert traffic away from the village centre, through to the entrance to Balthane Industrial Estate.
It’s understood developer Dandara would fund the majority of the work as part of a large housing development in the area above Ballabridson.
