Onchan MHK David Quirk says he's ashamed the Boundary Commission didn't provide sufficient time for consultation about moving Howstrake into a new "East" constituency.
The June sitting of Tynwald will be able to agree to a new pattern of of twelve equal constituencies, each represented by two MHKs and around 7,000 voters.
However it means some boundaries have to be moved.
A previous suggestion by the Commission to move Birch Hill out of Onchan was opposed by commissioners, who also object to the latest proposal and have written to all MHKs asking them to reject the idea.
Mr Quirk says he's disappointed with the Commission
