Announcement due soon, says Chris Thomas
An MHK says he's confident an announcement is due on the development of the Lord Street site very soon.
In his recent State of the Nation address, Chief Minister Allan Bell suggested the preferred bidder for the long awaited scheme, which includes the bus station site, would be announced soon.
West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas is a member of the Department of Infrastructure and chairman of the Select Committee of Tynwald on Planning and Building Control.
He says he's confident after years of waiting, positive news will be announced shortly:
