Man asked to send gift card to MHK from scammer
A Douglas South MHK has issued a warning to Island residents after her name was used to facilitate a scam.
Sarah Maltby says a gentleman who was not from her constituency got into contact with her to ask where to send a gift card.
He had been contacted using an email address containing her name.
Mrs Maltby says the Isle of Man Constabulary are aware of the scam and asks anyone else who has been targeted to make contact with them.
