Is urging those in debt to pay what they can in the meantime
An MHK says he's pleased Isle of Man Energy has confirmed a "short pause" in gas disconnections for some of its customers who are in debt.
A joint statement with the Office of Fair Trading was released this week, saying the OFT would review how many claims have been lodged over the issue.
Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse, who brought the topic up in Tynwald, says he's pleased with the response.
However, he's urging those affected to do what they can to pay off their debt in the meantime:
