Ramsey member hopes developers listen to town's residents
An MHK for Ramsey believes those behind plans to build a marina in the town will have to overcome a lot of hurdles to bring the project to fruition.
Lawrie Hooper says he supports the concept, but wants to see the developers consult with the residents of the town before the proposals can progress.
Ramsey Marina Limited unveiled the 400-berth yacht marina plans earlier this week, which would also include residential units, retail and a boutique hotel on reclaimed land on the town's beach.
Mr Hooper hopes any issues can be ironed out before a planning application is submitted:
