Fees total £6 million since 2012
An MHK wants to know what plans the Treasury minister has to review legal aid provision on the Island.
In the House of Keys, Arbory, Castletown and Malew member Jason Moorhouse will ask Alfred Cannan whether any research has been carried out in this area.
It comes after a freedom of information request revealed more than £6.5 million had been spent in civil legal fees since 2012.
After holding conversations with constituents on the subject, Mr Moorhouse says it might be time for the costs and systems in place for legal assistance to change.
