Caine calls for more support post-Covid
A Garff MHK has queried whether enough is being done to help children who’ve had a 'lost education' due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Daphne Caine raised the issue in Tynwald this week with the education minister:
Julie Edge said schools were tracking the progress of pupils and addressing gaps in learning caused by Covid-19 disruption.
She also confirmed that educational welfare officers are working with children who aren’t attending school regularly.
