Priority issue for the Council of Ministers
The quality of broadband, not its availability, is key for Island internet users - so says Ayre and Michael MHK Tim Baker.
He asked the Chairman of the Communications Commission Bill Malarkey if there are any plans to monitor broadband performance across the Island.
Mr Malarkey told today's House of Keys sitting (6 Dec) that the commission will research options to measure internet speed and quality.
The delivery of high-quality broadband has been deemed a priority for the Council of Ministers by Chief Minister Howard Quayle.
