Julie Edge speaks after written answer
An MHK has questioned why government intends to replace three posts, after the previous occupants had left under the MARS scheme.
Civil servants have been offered the Mutually Agreed Resignation Scheme (MARS) as part of efforts to cut numbers of top-end earners in government.
In response to a written Keys question by Onchan member Julie Edge, it's been revealed that since September 2017, 17 staff at the Department for Health and Social Care have accepted the voluntary package.
However three of the posts will be replaced, something which gives Ms Edge cause for concern.
