Claire Bettison to quiz Minister
Douglas East MHK Claire Bettison will raise the issue of school catchment areas in Douglas in the House of Keys tomorrow.
She will ask the minister for education, sport and culture how many pupils, broken down by year group, have been at Ballakermeen and St Ninian's High School for each year of the last ten years, and what are the predicted numbers for the next seven years, both with and without the proposed catchment area changes affecting Scoill Yn Jubilee.
Ms Bettison says the idea seems to go against everything government is trying to do:
Golf course fire was organised burn that became 'uncontrolled'
"Halfway Horse Tram" not the only problem on the prom, says council leader
