Ramsey member told position 'irreconcilable'
An MHK who voted against the Manx budget this week has been sacked from the government's SAVE team.
Ramsey member Lawrie Hooper refused to support Alfred Cannan’s budget, citing a number of factors, including insufficient measures to protect young families.
The initiative was launched just over a year ago to identify £25 million worth of efficiencies.
Mr Cannan has today (Friday) written to Mr Hooper saying his views and vote means his position on the SAVE team is irreconcilable.
