Road will only be partly resurfaced because of a lack of money
An Arbory, Castletown and Malew MHK has hit out at the Department of Infrastructure saying failing to resurface part of a residential estate in his constituency is a ‘missed opportunity’.
Ballacriy Park, in Colby, is currently undergoing extensive work to replace all utilities services.

But in the House of Keys this week Jason Moorhouse queried why a section of the road there will only be resurfaced in part.
He was told, by the new DoI Minister Michelle Haywood, that it would cost £170,000 to carry out the full resurfacing work and there simply isn’t the money available:
