'Future for site needs firming up'
Constituency East Douglas MHK, Claire Bettison, says she's committed to ensure the Summerland site has a future that honours its victims.
Campaigner, Tina Brennan, has been lobbying to secure an appropriate memorial on the site for survivors and those who lost loved ones.
Tina also approached Infrastructure Minister, Ray Harmer, and departmental member, Tim Baker MHK, in March - and has hopes they can help.
She organises an annual memorial minute silence - the forth took place yesterday (Wed) opposite Summerland on Douglas Promenade.
Miss Bettison was there, she says decisions need to be made:
Plans for 'all-age pathway' for adult autism and ADHD diagnosis by 2029
Some trailers got 'lost' during recent backlog of freight at Heysham
Police told to reassess FOI response
Census support available from next week
Mobile classroom needed to 'alleviate' pressure at Henry Bloom Primary School
